How to Prepare for the CAT (Strategy)
For any new person taking up the CAT preparation, there is always
a lot of tips scattered in different articles and coaching sites. However, it
gets a little confusing for a new guy to choose the best way to go about it.
Having been in the CAT coaching field for a long time now, I
myself have faced difficulties and confusions regarding the best ways to
prepare for the exam.
So, this is an attempt from my side to combine and
consolidate everything into a four part series for CAT exam preparation,
followed by two parts on GD/WAT and Interview preparations for the IIMs and top
B-Schools.
Attack on the wild feline (CAT) consists of three steps:
|
CAT exam
|
Maths, English & DI/LR
|
|
GD/WAT
|
Written Test
|
|
Interview
|
------
|
Initially, we will begin with the four part series on CAT
exam preparation.
Part I: Understanding the mindset of the enemy
(CAT)
Part II: The weapons
required to defeat the enemy (books, tests series, other fodder material)
Part III: How to use
these weapons most effectively to defeat the enemy
Part IV: D-Day
performance and exam temperament
Stay tuned to us. We will be shortly coming out with the
four parts of strategy one by one, very soon.
