BRAIN TEASER:

There are 100 rooms in a building, which has one light bulb in each room. The lights are intially all switched off. Now, there are 100 people. The first person enters every room, and switches on the lights. The second one goes to every second room and does the opposite of what already exists, i.e. if the light is switched on , he switches it off and vice versa.

The person goes to every 3 rd room and does the same, the fourth person to every 4th room and does the same. Likewise all the 100 people follow this. After all the 100 people have done this process, how many rooms will remain switched on at the end?

How to Prepare for the CAT (Strategy)

For any new person taking up the CAT preparation, there is always a lot of tips scattered in different articles and coaching sites. However, it gets a little confusing for a new guy to choose the best way to go about it.

Having been in the CAT coaching field for a long time now, I myself have faced difficulties and confusions regarding the best ways to prepare for the exam.

So, this is an attempt from my side to combine and consolidate everything into a four part series for CAT exam preparation, followed by two parts on GD/WAT and Interview preparations for the IIMs and top B-Schools.

Attack on the wild feline (CAT) consists of three steps:
CAT exam
Maths, English & DI/LR
GD/WAT
Written Test
Interview
------

Initially, we will begin with the four part series on CAT exam preparation.

Part I: Understanding the mindset of the enemy (CAT)
Part II: The weapons required to defeat the enemy (books, tests series, other fodder material)
Part III: How to use these weapons most effectively to defeat the enemy
Part IV: D-Day performance and exam temperament

Stay tuned to us. We will be shortly coming out with the four parts of strategy one by one, very soon.
